You’re Invited to “Do Something Good”! On behalf of the St. Augustine’s Parish Youth Ministry, we invite you to join us to “Do Good” in our community. We recently launched an initiative to create and send “Joy Cards” to the Residents and Staff at the St. Joseph’s Villa here in Dundas.
During this time of isolation and physical distancing, and in appreciation for all front-line health care personnel, we thought we would do something good. “Do Good” is one of our Youth Ministry’s mottos, and supports our “Youth with Purpose” and “Youth in Action” movements. We can all do good and doing good is good for us and for those to whom we do good.
Everyone is welcomed to join us and to create Joy Cards for sharing with the St. Joe’s Villa Residents and Staff – they are so very happy to receive them and these cards have brought a smile to residents and staff – they have been so appreciative and grateful that we thought about them through this initiative – this is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference! Send your Joy Cards via email to: youthdogood@gmail.com.
Also, for a little motivation and inspiration, you’re invited to listen to the “Do Something” music video by t Christian recording artist Matthew West – we’ve adopted this song as our theme song for our Youth Ministry’s “Do Good” initiatives:
