Knight of Columbus Council 6579 raised $1349.50 from the May bottle drive, which included $100 in cash donations for their charitable programs. Although it was not as busy this time around as past bottle drives, there was more time to socialize and have some laughs. The knights once again collected enough empties to fill two truck loads.
Drive organizers thank St Augustine’s Parish as well as Canadian Martyrs’ Parish for supporting the event through their parish communities.
