Our parish “Infant of Prague” statue has moved. The “infant” — a copy of an original statue of the infant Jesus imagined as a medieval king that is in the oratory of the monastery of Our Lady of Victory, Prague — has been consigned to one of our parish offices for some time, out of sight of parishioners. While plans are pending to determine the placement of our sacred images and statues, it has been moved to the entrance of our parish hall. Thank you to the Knights of Columbus member who our parish custodian, Tom Muldoon, enlisted to help him with the move of some very heavy pieces of antique furniture that constitutes the display home of our Infant. The office space can now serve as a conference room, and work area for parish office volunteers. Currently, the freed up space has been given over to the One Heart, One Soul capital campaign underway at St. Augustine’s.
