The parish inaugurated its new Parish Advisory Council. The new governance model for the parish includes a finance council with treasurer (as required by Church canons), and a pastoral council (to advise on “pastoral” issues in the parish, such as outreach and faith formation). These councils together form the PAC. Dave Weber of the pastoral council will serve as the vice-chair assisting our pastor, Fr. Scott Whitfield, in its operations. (all photos: Paul Kiely)
  • Outgoing finance council member, Garry Condon who did the parish “books” for years.
  • Appreciation for Garry who is a long-time volunteer, lately retired to Burlington.
  • Six members fo the Parish Advisory Council: Ravi Tyronne (finance), Rick Adamczyck (finance), Erin Hunking (treasurer), Ron Simpson (finance), Dave Weber (Vice-Chair PAC), Vanessa D’Sa (pastoral). Absent: Steve Altmann and Martin Strybosch (finance); Yvette Beach, Mario Perez, and Raylene D’Amore (pastoral).
